This is the Dr. Dre's beats pill. The pill itself came out back in 2012. It is a portable, bluetooth speaker. The idea of a pill comes a capsule since Beat's once were owned by Dr. Dre. Hence the name, "Dr". The pill is 7.7 inches in length. It uses bluetooth to connect to a device, it also includes audio input and output jacks. They released Beats Characters which are the figures above the image of the pills. The characters head and arms can be moved around so they fit the person. You stick the pill inside the characters mouth and it holds the pill.
The idea of making the pill look like a capsule is kind of ironic because the creator of beats calls himself a doctor. This was the first product released after Beat's left Monster Cable. The design of a capsule should have been a square or a box that can possibly produce more sound. The pill itself has no bass at all, some people enjoy listening to their music with the bass. The pill also comes at a ridiculous price of 200 dollars, when their beat earphones can be bought at 100.
