One Laptop Per Child

The One Laptop Per Child laptop was a project created by OLPC. There goal is to provide each poor child with access to a low cost laptop. The software, and hardware was designed by the group to promote self learning. With the laptop OLPC helps children in education and learning to share moments together even though they might not have much for themselves. They have five principles that emphasis more then anything else. The first is the kids get to keep the laptops. Second is to focus on early education. Third no kid gets left out, the whole classroom and school gets them the same time. Fourth is each laptop has to be connected to the internet because children need the internet to learn. The fifth is to free and grow and adapt to the child. The software learns per the child and its education.
The design of the computer is rugged, meaning that it has a hard protection all around because children tend to drop things. The laptop has a screen that can be seen outside because most schools in these countries are taken outside. The laptop has long range Wi-Fi. The laptop has a camera built in camera. When the laptop is closed, it has a handle so the children can carry it around, it also has built in keyboard. Or you can flip the laptop screen, close the laptop and make it a tablet. It has one GB flash memory. The laptop can be a standard plug in power supply, it can be changed with batteries or solar powered.
