This is a movie poster for the film of Knowing with Nicolas Cage. The poster is to inform people about that the the film comes out in summer of 2009. The design is dull, the whole poster is in black and the only thing that has has color is the planet Earth. The planet Earth seems to look as if it were burning up, but the things that are falling off the planet are numbers. The poster can be effective because it does not give anything away about the movie. Which can bring people in to go watch the movie or push people away from the movie.
The idea is to put all the attention on planet Earth and how it seems that it's burning up. Under the title of the film there is a sentence that says "What happens when the numbers run out". That can serve up as a cliff hanger as well. Do not watch the movie, it sucks.
